Coffee, Clearly.
We don’t believe in adding more to coffee. We believe in getting more out of it.
At Taraba, clarity is the point. In flavor. In process. In purpose. Our work begins with a single idea: great coffee reveals more than it hides. Every cup can tell a story – if we’re paying attention.
We roast with intention, source with transparency, and serve with the belief that trust travels through every link in the chain: producer, roaster, barista, guest. We’re not here to make coffee louder. We’re here to make it understood.

WHAT GUIDES US
Every choice is a chance to do things right.
We don’t chase trends. We chase truth. Clarity over hype. Collaboration over ego. Substance over style – though style’s nice too.
We’re here to help more people taste what coffee is capable of – and to build something better through that pursuit.

WHERE IT BEGINS
Coffee begins at origin. So do we.
Before a bean ever meets heat, it’s shaped by people – farmers, pickers, processors –whose choices define everything that comes after. We pursue working directly with producers who share our commitment to quality, sustainability, and progress. That means long-term relationships, on-the-ground visits, and pricing that respects labor and land.
We reinvest 12% of profits back into producer communities – not as charity, but as collaboration. We grow together, not apart.
HOW WE ROAST
Precision, not projection.
Roasting is how we stay out of the coffee’s way. Using a high-spec IMF air roaster, we develop profiles that express the coffee’s true character – no roast overlay, no agenda. Just clarity.
No separate roasts for espresso or filter. Just one thoughtful, omni-profile that lets the coffee move freely across brew methods. Our goal? A cup that’s clean, expressive, and honest.
STRUCTURE IN SERVICE OF FLAVOR
Great coffee isn’t just about talent. It’s about systems that support it. Every roast goes through a rigorous quality protocol:
optical color sorting
blind cupping across formats
Extraction testing & solubility checks
Vacuum-sealed, nitrogen-flushed packaging
